Skills Evaluation - Roles of Coach and the Coachee

Let's look at the functions or the activities performed by a Coach or Coachee during a Skill Evaluation:

Coach

  • Evaluate individual competency levels and identify focus areas and critical actions for Coachees.

Coachee

  • Initiate self-evaluation on individual competency level.

  • Assigns actions to either themselves or their Coach.

The Coach can also be a Coachee. Their manager can do their evaluation.

Usually, the Coach evaluation happens or is captured in the system during the discussion with their Coachee.
