Remote Consent

Remote Consent allows you to send any consent to your customer to be captured remotely and increase your consent capture rating in a simple way.

To see how to configure Remote Consent, please refer to Remote Consent in the Setup section

Search Customer

Open Pitcher and search inside your local database for the customer you want to capture consent.

Review available Consents for the selected customer

Review the status of actual consent and select a new consent to be captured.

Select Remote Consent

Select Consent topics and remote consent option.

Select Consent Topic, Language, Email, and Save

Select the consent topic and language in case multiple languages apply and fill send by email field to be sent

Note: To send the remote consent, an email must be previously requested to the customer or be available as part of CRM data. This email will be used only to send the request

Send Remote Consent Email

An email is sent automatically to the customer with a link to complete the consent.

Complete Remote Consent

The customer needs to complete the Consent and Submit it.

Since version 2.1, if Consent contains an Email channel, the email value will be automatically prefilled from the payload link.

Customer Management Record

Once the customer completes the consent, the Consent Management record will be available in CRM from a tracking perspective with all the information confirmed by the customer. The following fields will be automatically generated

  • Status: 

    • Completed: status indicates that the consent has been accepted by the customer. (At least one Opt-in channel has been accepted)

    • Revoked: status revoked indicates that the consent has been revoked by the customer. (All channels are Opt-out)

  • Signed Date: Date when the document has been accepted

  • Revoked Date: The date when the document has been revoked

  • Consent Capture: Remote will be the value for consents captured in person.

  • Send Email: email added to be sent a consent verification email to the customer.

In addition to the Consent Management record, a pdf generated that includes the Signature will be attached and linked to the record.

Resend Remote Consent

Remote Consents can be resent to capture the consent again. Consent with status Ongoing, Completed, Revoked, Remote Expired or Double Opt-in Expired can be edited to be resent.

After adding an email inside Send by email box, consent can be resent.
