PDF Attachments not showing in email

Issue

When sending slides, presentations or brochures via Send Docs or the email button the attachment is not visible on the recipients email client instead the below icon appears within the email client: 

Causes 

  • Older email clients like Outlook 2007 experience an issue with attachments inserted above the text. → A solution to this is removing the email signature on the mobile email client before sending the email.  

  • Privacy Settings: Sometimes attachments are not previewed due to the privacy settings.

  • Corporate network: Check with your internal IT if email attachments might get blocked.
