PDF Attachments not showing in email

Issue

When sending slides, presentations, or brochures via Send Docs or the Email button, the attachment does not appear in the recipient’s email client. Instead, the following icon is displayed within the email: 

Causes 

  • Certain legacy email clients (e.g., Outlook 2007) may not properly display attachments positioned above the body text. To resolve this issue, remove the email signature in the mobile email client prior to sending.

  • Files containing the "/" character in the file name must be renamed to remove the "/" character and re-uploaded in Pitcher Admin by your administrator to be able to send the file via email.

  • Privacy Settings: Sometimes attachments are not previewed due to privacy settings.

  • Corporate Network: Please consult your internal IT department to confirm whether email attachments may be blocked.
