Managing Subscription in Pitcher Connect
Multichannel Management allows the user to manage multi channel subscriptions for effective communication. These channels are:
Email
Facebook
WhatsApp
SMS/Text
Twitter
Viber
Line
Telegram
WeChat
By default email is the primary channel and the user is subscribed to it. Most of the multi-channels can be managed via Manage your subscription Page. The user can opt out of all the subscriptions by clicking the button opt-out from communications.
The multi channel subscription and management is instance specific and is implemented as per the customer’s requirements.
Manage Your Subscription Page on Rep portal
Open the instance on Pitcher connect and:
Click on three dots and then click on
Manage your subscription.
The subscription for channels can also be managed in a similar way via customer portal
Subscription to WhatsApp
To subscribe to WhatsApp click on subscribe to WhatsApp button
Scan the QR code using QR scanner or any other scanner mobile app.
After Scanning the QR code using the mobile app, open the link.
The link will open Whatsapp along with the code. Send the code
Auto response Code registered successfully will be received as shown in the above image.
If the manage your subscription page is refreshed then opt out from WhatsApp will be activated as shown in the above image.
Subscription to SMS
To subscribe to the SMS provide the mobile number along with the country code
click the button Subscribe directly to SMS
Opt out from SMS button would be displayed.
Subscribe to Viber
Click on Subscribe to Viber
Open the Viber app and tap on more ( at the bottom right corner of the image 1) and then on the top right corner small icon (see the second image) as shown below.
A scanner will open. Scan the QR code shown under subscribe to viber option in the multichannel channel subscription page.
A chat window will be created along with the code. Send the code and the device will be registered to multichannel subscription for viber.
After refreshing the page, Opt-out from Viber button will be activated.
Subscribe to Line
Line Messenger has similar steps to that of Viber or weChat for subscription.
Click on Subscribe to Line button
A QR code will be generated. To scan the code QR code scanner needs to be tapped on the Line Messenger app.
As soon as the code is scanned a chat window will open with the code to be sent. Send the code.
The device is registered.
Like in all other subscriptions the button Opt out From Line will be activated
Subscribe on this device button
If user is using a mobile device for managing subscriptions then clicking Subscribe on this device button will open the application directly on the same device from which user is accessing the manage subscription page. This button is available for each channel, mentioned above.
To opt-out of subscription the user can click on Opt-out from communications for all the channels or can unsubscribe to specific channel by clicking the button opt out below that specific channel
