Assigning Samples and Materials to a Sales Rep (Load)

You can assign Samples and Materials to a new Sales Rep by creating an inventory object for them and creating inventory loads. You can use the Inventories object to create a new inventory for a sales representative.

You can also see the assigned inventory products and older inventory transactions in the Related tab for the product.

Note: Inventories can be for a Sales Rep or a Warehouse, but the Warehouses are optional for customer if they want have their own implementation. If you create a Warehouse, it will be used to return Samples/Materials by the Sales Rep.

Creating a new inventory load

Follow these steps to assign materials or samples to a sales rep:

  1. Go to the related tab for the rep inventory and click New against the Inventory transactions card.

  2. Select the transaction type as “Load” and hit Next.

  3. Select the status as “Submitted”.

  4. Select the required sales rep’s inventory as the Recipient and hit Next.

  5. Select the Samples/Material to be assigned.

  6. Select the product lot.

  7. Select the product quantity and click submit.

  8. You should now see that the inventory transaction was created.

Select lot and add quantity.

The inventory transaction should also appear in the Inventory Transactions (Inventory To) section for the rep's inventory in the Related tab.

Also, the transaction would appear as a new inventory load for the Sales rep in Pitcher Impact.

And once the Sales rep either partially or fully confirms the inventory load. The products should start appearing in the Inventory Products section of the Reps inventory.
